In the Cabinet meeting, Punjab’s new chief minister Mann declared about 25,000 vacancies of jobs in different sectors on Saturday, 19/3/22. Out of 25000 jobs, 10 thousand jobs vacancies are in the police department, and the rest job vacancies are in other departments, boards, and corporations.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann clearly mentioned that these jobs would be provided on merit and one’s abilities and hard work. There will not be any bias, recommendation, discrimination, or bribe. Unemployment is one of the major problems in Punjab. Aam Aadmi Party has raised significant concern about it in just-concluded state assembly polls and started to bring change in Punjab. Mann continued his speech by adding that he would stop the migration of young students by creating a sumptuous number of jobs in Punjab. This is the first step of the Aam Aadmi Party shortly after getting power. The process of promotion and notifications of these 25000 new jobs will be initiated in the month of April.

Mann tweeted, ” Chaired the first cabinet meeting. The Punjab cabinet has approved notification of 25000 job vacancies within one month. As we promised before the election, job opportunities for Punjab youth will be the topmost priority of the AAP government.”
